Watch the Trailer for Backstreet Boys Documentary "Show 'Em What You're Made Of"

Francesca FoleyA trailer for the upcoming documentary Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of is now online, and it shows the group discussing everything from their early beginnings to their troubles with Lou Pearlman, the man who first put them together. The documentary, which arrives in theaters and on VOD on January 30, features AJ McLean saying, "From 1999 til about 2002, we were the biggest band in the world...then, it just stopped."In the trailer, we see scenes of the group recording in the studio in the present day, discussing Pearlman's financial misdeeds, and talking about how they had to go to Europe to start their career because at the time, the American music scene had no interest in boy bands. There's also behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals, plus scenes of the group onstage and, of course, screaming fans. "We've seen the best and worst of each other," says AJ.  "20 years is a long time, for anybody, let alone...a buncha dorks jumping around onstage, singing and dancing."The documentary's title comes from a song on the Backstreet Boys' most recent album In a World Like This.Follow --ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Madonna Addresses Album Leak, Thanks Fans for Not Listening

Image credit: Mert & MarcusA few weeks ago, Madonna and her manager were furious when a couple of songs from her upcoming album leaked online.  Now the entire album has apparently found its way online, but some fans, aware of Madonna's feelings on the subject, have taken to Twitter to say they won't listen.   The Queen of Pop has now taken to Instagram to thank those fans, and to caution them that what's out there isn't exactly the finished product."Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty!" Madonna writes in her post.  "Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world."The alleged album is being referred to by one of two titles: Iconic or Unapologetic B**ch, that last one being one of Madonna's frequently-used hashtags.  The alleged track listing features song titles that have already been confirmed or rumored, such as "Rebel Heart," "Make the Devil Pray," "Messiah," "Living 4 Love," and "B**ch I'm Madonna."Madonna's new album, which includes production and songwriting collaborations from the likes of Avicii, Diplo and Ryan Tedder, as yet has no official title or release date.Follow --ABCNewsRadio!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

"Michael Bublé's Christmas in New York" Airs Tonight with Three Divas: Streisand

Neil Jacobs/NBCIf it's the holiday season, it must be time for a Christmas special from Michael Buble.  The singer is hosting his fourth annual holiday extravaganza on NBC Wednesday night, and he says his favorite thing about it is that he gets to "be invited into people's homes all over the world" and join in their celebrations. This year's show, Michael Bublé’s Christmas in New York, was taped at New York City's Radio City Music Hall and features appearances by the famous Rockettes dancers, plus Miss Piggy, pop princess Ariana Grande and one of the greatest divas ever, Barbra Streisand.  But wrangling all those guests and balancing all the show's elements isn't easy, says Michael.  "Listen, the show's a lot of work. It's challenging," he says.  "It's challenging to make it different and fresh and to get these great guests, but once it all comes together it's really fulfilling."Landing Streisand for the special was a big deal, says Michael, even though the two had already worked together on her #1 album, Partners. "I think when people see it they're going to get a huge kick out of it," he says of their duet. "We were completely connected. We were present and in the moment together. Honestly, I love her. I mean, obviously, listen: she's Barbra Streisand. She's got the greatest gift ever. Her voice is amazing. She tells a story like no one else. But she's funny. What a coup it is to have an icon like that coming to be part of this year's special."As for Ariana Grande, Michael says despite reports to the contrary, she didn't act like a diva at all: she showed up early and was easy to work with.  "Ariana of course is probably the hottest act in pop right now," he says. "She has the voice to back up her stardom. I mean, she is really the real deal."Some of the songs you'll hear tonight include “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”  Michael and his band will also do an "unplugged" series of songs requested by his fans via social media.  The segment is inspired by the unplugged backstage warm-up tunes Michael and his band do before every show -- often by request -- and then post online.  Among the songs you'll hear: "I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” Michael's original song “Cold December Night” and “Blue Christmas.""The holidays always meant a lot to me because of the way that my family treated us during the holiday and what it meant to them and there's a great amount of sentimentality that comes with that," Michael says, explaining why he loves Christmas so much. "And I get to be invited into people's homes all over the world to celebrate something that's just as personal and special to them."As for his holiday wish, Michael says, "I hope that there's blessings for everybody all over the world and that they have a safe, happy, and sweet Christmas with their families and their friends.""For me, I just want to recreate what my family gave me...with my little boy and my wife," says the father of 16-month-old Noah. "I know that that's probably one of the things we're most excited about: Christmas and Disneyland."While we're watching Michael on TV, he'll be in London wrapping up his To Be Loved Tour, which has involved 157 shows all over the world and grossed more than $100 million in 2014 alone. Michael Bublé’s Christmas in New York airs at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday on NBC.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Stevie Nicks Reflects on Her "Voice" Experience: "You Just Want Them All to Make

Trae Patton/NBCTuesday night, NBC's The Voice wraps up its seventh season, and this year saw quite a few high-profile mentors join coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams, including Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Stevie Nicks. Looking back on her time advising Team Adam, Stevie says she was surprised how much she ended up caring about the contestants and their careers."That you become really invested in the contestants, in the kids, because you feel their pain, you know?" she tells ABC News Radio when asked to name the most surprising part of her experience on the show.  "You just want 'em all to make it, and you don't want anybody to be sent home. Well, maybe there's a couple of people you want to be sent home.""You know how much it means to each one of them because you've seen it.  It was you before, so you want them all to make it!" Stevie adds.  That's why she says she appreciates the fact that The Voice isn't in the business of tearing contestants down. "It's like all the judges say, 'We try to make this as positive of a show as possible.  We aren't gonna rip these kids apart,''' says Stevie. When it came time to help the kids during the mentoring sessions, Stevie says, she and Adam were always encouraging."We might say, 'You need to practice more' or 'You need to get a vocal coach' or 'You need to listen to some diverse music,' but we're never gonna say, you know, 'You suck and you should really start looking into doing something else,' because that's not fair."Stevie, who enjoys mentoring younger artists, feels that if you want to try your luck in the music business in any way, including being a contestant on a reality show, she's not going to try to talk you out of it."You need to, you know, let kids do what they want to do and go their own way, and let them make that decision," she tells ABC News Radio. "I'm not gonna make it.  'Cause it is hard to make it in the music business right now, even if you're fantastic.  So, you just want to let them come to that decision on their own." Tonight's Voice finale will feature performances by Bruno Mars, Jennifer Hudson, Ed Sheeran and more.  You might recall that Stevie actually performed on the finale of the very first season of The Voice, singing with Team Adam's Javier Colon, the show's very first champ.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

"The Voice" Recap: The Final Four Take the Stage to Perform Three Songs

Trae Patton/NBCThe final four artists on NBC's The Voice went head-to-head one final time on Monday night, again performing for viewers' votes to determine who will be crowned this season’s winner. Host Carson Daly revealed that each contestant would perform three songs: one their coach picked; a duet with their coach and an original tune. The artists also released original videos for their new songs.Adam Levine has three artists in the finals while Blake Shelton has one.  Pharrell Williams' and Gwen Stefani’s teams have been eliminated. The first performance of the night came from Team Adam’s Damien, who was given Donny Hathaway’s version of “A Song for You” by his coach. Blake complimented the singer on the incredible power of every note he sings, as well as his great sense of pitch. Pharrell also praised Damien’s power, saying the singer “took him to church.” Adam said Damien “lifted everybody,” and added that it was his best performance of the competition.Team Blake’s Craig Wayne Boyd, was next with his original song. Blake chose “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,” a song Blake said he had been carrying around for years. Blake said he felt it was a hit, but was afraid to record because it was “so freakin’ hard to sing.” After a long round of applause following his performance, Pharrell told Craig, “Welcome to your future.” Gwen agreed and said Craig was “ready to pick.” Blake was happy with his artist’s performance, declaring the song was meant for him.Next up, Adam Levine joined his artist Chris Jamison for a duet on Robin Thicke’s soulful “Lost without U.” The coaches didn’t offer any comments after the performance, but it drew cheers from the audience and a standing ovation from Gwen.Another Team Adam contestant, Barnegat, New Jersey’s Matt McAndrew, performed the original song, “Wasted Love,” backed by a choir. Adam said he was attracted to the tune because it was “soul, from a different era.” It brought the crowd to its feet. Gwen said she got “lost in the performance.” Adam said he was proud of his artist and proclaimed that he was also a fan.Shelton and Craig Wayne Boyd then performed their duet, Randy Houser’s “Boots On.” Once again, the coaches’ comments were skipped, although the Nashville, Tennessee, resident brought Adam to his feet as the audience cheered loudly.Damien, the former TSA agent, returned to perform Elton John’s “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” with his coach, Adam Levine. The coaches’ comments were skipped once again, but the audience voiced their approval with spirited applause.Team Adam’s Chris Jamison returned to perform the original song, “Velvet.” Pharrell declared, “A star was born on this television show,” noting Jamison, a campus mailman at his college, Capital University in Ohio, has grown dramatically as an artist. Adam praised Jamison, declaring he was “blown away” by the performance.Matt McAndrew and his coach Adam Levine teamed up next on the song “Lost Stars,” from the film Begin Again. Adam made his acting debut as a musician named Dave Kohl in the film.Team Blake’s Craig Wayne Boyd was up next with his coach’s pick, “In Pictures,” by Alabama. Boyd dedicated it to his two-year-old son. It brought Gwen to her feet. She said she was happy for the artist. Blake thought it was a great statement about the point that Craig has now entered in his life and where he’s headed.Team Adam’s Damien performed his final song of the night, the original tune “Soldier.” Adam said he had listened to “a hundred songs” before finding this one and chose it because it seemed to sum up what Damien is all about, noting the Monroe, Louisiana, native is a “strong person.” Adam gushed that the performance made him “the happiest coach in the world.”Adam’s coach’s pick for Chris Jamison was Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” It drew some of the loudest applause of the night and brought Pharrell to his feet. Adam said Jamison was his “young Jedi,” and added, “Welcome and congratulations.”Team Adam’s Matt McAndrew closed out the show with an emotional version of his coach’s pick “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” from the film The Wizard of Oz. Gwen called it a “beautiful performance,” adding McAndrew is “original and pure” and has an ability to connect with the audience. Pharrell noted that he’s watched Matt “walk through walls” of categories and classifications because he simply has a great voice. Adam thought the rendition was “bittersweet and perfect,” adding “The universe just paused for a second.”The Season 7 winner of The Voice will be revealed on Tuesday night's results show, airing on NBC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio

Taylor Swift Tells Barbara Walters Why She's Not Rushing Into an Acting Career

ABC/Ida Mae AstuteTaylor Swift is the only musician featured on Sunday night's ABC special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014, and one of the topics she discusses in her interview with Walters is why she isn't necessarily rushing to give up music and go into acting. While Taylor has appeared in small roles in the movies Valentine's Day and The Giver, and lent her voice to the animated film The Lorax, she has yet to take on a major starring role in any project.  She says what's holding her back is the fact that she's wary of going from someone who writes her own songs, to someone who's just speaking someone else's words."I would want to do that if it was the perfect situation," she tells Walters of acting. "You know, I've read scripts for years and I think it would have to be [a role] I was so obsessed with, because acting is taking the pen out of my hand.""I'm not writing anymore at that point," she says of portraying a character in a movie. "So I would be acting something that somebody else wrote, whereas in music I'm so connected to the material because I created it...There's something really powerful about that."Taylor also discusses one of her big achievements of 2014: selling over a million copies of her new album 1989.“I don’t even know how to tell you how excited I was about the first-week sales and everything, because you know where the music industry has been in the last few years," she tells Walters. "I think people make the mistake of thinking that because they have had success, that they are immune to people losing interest. I am very well aware of the fact that I am not entitled to anything."You can watch Walters' entire interview with Taylor, along with her chats with Scarlett Johansson, Michael Strahan, Oprah Winfrey, Chelsea Handler and Neil Patrick Harris, Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.Follow @ABCNewsRadio !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio
