A cat required IV fluids after he mated with at least five other tabbies in one night at a South China pet hotel. The cat’s owner said that he left the Russian Blue named Xiaopi at the pet hotel on October 1st, only to see on a surveillance camera that the feline was getting busy with the other pets. “Between around 10:40 p.m. and 5 a.m., my cat mated with five female cats! And those are only the ones I could see in the [surveillance] footage,” the owner only identified by Zhao wrote on social media. Zhao blamed the staff for allowing the cat to roam freely. He said the episode left his cat “exhausted” and on a IV drip to regain strength.

“The pet hotel had the nerve to be upset with me, saying some of the cat owners weren’t planning on having kittens,” the owner wrote. “They wanted me to explain the situation to all the other owners.” But the hotel later apologized and compensated each pregnant cat’s ownerwith $61.
