NC Man Is Luckiest Man Alive

North Carolina resident, Scotty Thomas, may be the luckiest man alive.  Scotty purchased a Lucky for Life lottery ticket but then forgot he purchased the ticket, so he bought another one.  The drawing was for $25,000 a year, for life. Thanks to Scotty’s forgetfulness, he won that price, twice!  He opted for the full payout, walking away with $551,851, after all taxes were paid.
