Woman Leaves 3 Year Old And Baby In Car For An Hour While She Gets Her Nails Done

A Maryland mom was busted for leaving her kids alone in a car while she got her nails done at a salon — all while defying coronavirus lockdowns. Keontae Moodie, 22, left her 3-year-old girl and baby boy in the locked Honda for an hour last week to go to First Class Nail Salon in Randallstown. Police responding to a call found the youngsters inside with no adult, and used a baton to break the driver’s side window to rescue them. Officers were ultimately able to locate Moodie inside the nail salon that had its shades drawn. She was charged with two counts of leaving children unattended. “We’re still in a pandemic and we still don’t have the solutions to the problem,” police said. “Getting your nails done should not supersede the safety of your family, your kids, and others who you put yourself in contact with.” The nail salon, which wasn’t authorized to be open amid coronavirus restrictions, was ordered to shut.
