Homecoming Queen Crowns Competition

Senior Nyla Covington was voted homecoming queen by fellow students at a school football game in late September.  Shortly after being crowned, Nyla removed her crown and placed it on her friend Brittany Walters.  Brittany had just lost her mom to cancer and the wake was right before the football game.  Nyla said “I just felt like it was something that was put on my heart,” The full story is here.
