New ‘Planet of the Apes’ Movie Could Be Coming Soon

In 2019 Mae Runner director Wes Ball announced he would be directing a new Planet of the Apes movie and now it looks like filming could be starting this summer.

When asked about the film, Ball said the film would pay homage to the three previous films but will have its own direction.

“We’re also opening ourselves up in being able to do some really cool stuff,” Ball continued.
