Shakira Says “People Were Just Watching” And Didn’t Help When Wild Boars Robbed Her In Barcelona

Shakira recently detailed her encounter with wild boars who ambushed her and stole her purse.

“I was taking my son, Milan, for a walk in the park and I got him a little ice cream,” she explained to Glamour. “We sat on one of those park benches and we were just minding our own business. And then two huge wild boars came from the back and ambushed [us] and took my purse!”

Shakira says she was screaming “Oh my God! Oh my God!” while the boars were making off with her purse which had everything in it, including her phone, car keys and no one around was helping her.

Shakira says the boars took off with her son’s sandwich and left the purse. There’s an estimated population of over ten million wild boars and has been a real problem in Barcelona with the animals spotted attacking dogs and stopping traffic.
